As of late I have been dressing even more Hippie than I would usually do.... I think it's because it's festival season and I am so very excited for V Fest... its my first real festival camping experience... (I say this were still undecided as to whether to opt for a hotel or not... haha.. we shall see)

I took these photos last week when the sun decided to pop out for oh a total of half an hour... I love the huge bell sleeves on this top and the fact its tie dye and its green, a super nice JADE green ;) see what i did there....

I like it with this skirt as the skirt has a killer split up the side, which makes it extremely hard to sit down. Girl problems!

Well I hope these images of sunshine and and my super fluffy cat have cheered up your Monday... probs not but I'm awarding myself A for effort..

HUGE apologies for the copious amounts of photos but this dress is the prettiest little thing and it was half price and i love it... it literally has every component i love, maxi, flowing, lace, pink, nude, sheer... it's me in dress form basically. 

I kinda thought the dress did enough itself, to not add too many other bits and bobs, so i threw on a few rings and this super cheap and lovely necklace I found yesterday and off out i went. Although I did however feel that I should have been frolicking in a meadow with daisies in my hair... hmmm.

Let it Linger...

This outfit seems utterly ridiculess for the start of July... the best month of the year(my birthday) and I'm wearing winter boots and a winter jumper. Its a crying shame. 

This outfit is completely unimaginative and truly designed for comfort as I've had a busy little day... I've also had these boots for such a long time and I constantly forget I own them as they sit right at the back of my shoe collection. Well essentially this is just a dress, jumper, a hat and boots...what more to say.

Ola All....

Another week of June showers means another week of no summer clothes! Hmmmpfff! So I braved the elements for ten minutes so I could do a blogpost :)

I shall firstly address my hair, Okay so after my wonderful friend Isobelle spent 6 hours giving me pastel dip-dyed hair, after a weekend in spain filled with water, chlorine and sunshine the ends started to fade so I attempted to go over it myself..... as you can see I'm no hairdressers and it went bright purple... (luckily its only entensions..shhhh) So I bought a new set and now i have 3 hair options, I have a blonde set of extensions, a pastel set of extensions and these bright purple ones... So i can change my hair everyday which is super cool wicked awesome!! 

Let me advise every human who is off on a summer holiday to purchase these topshop wedges.. they are literally the lightest shoes you will ever ever wear which makes them so easy to pack and leaves weight in the suitcase for more important things :)

No love lost...

On reflection this is a complete over load of photographs OOPSIE... sorry for more than likely boring the life out of you, but I have a new editing programme which evidently I got carried away trying out!

I have not blogged in far too long, but with a combination of dissertation deadlines/project deadlines/exams/work/freelance jobs/general laziness has made it tricky for me to find the time! I haven't blogged in so long in fact my hair colour has once again changed... back to blonde... I feel I have now dabbled with enough colours to go back to my beloved blonde AND my hair isn't anywhere near as ruined which is bonus! I also got my nose re-pierced (2nd time lucky) it is testing my patience once again but I am going to persist... ! I love this dress... it screaamssssssss summer and hippie and girlie and boho and everything else I am in love with, whilst slightly pricey for Topshop there was no way I was walking out without him, throw on a bit of jewellery and a pair of lita's and I'm one happy lady!

Quick tip for the lip..

BIG apologies for a lack of blog post as of late and even BIGGER apologies for this lame blog.. but I'm swamped with uni deadlines so haven't had time to get the camera out and play around so I thought I'd just do a wee blog on my most recent make-up preferences...(more apologies for the poor quality macbook photos!!)

I've always been partial to a bright lip... but in my opinion the biggest mistake people can make is a heavy eye and bight lip combo... not only do I find it all too much, I don't like the attention being taken a way from a strong lip!

So my advice.... use a cream base such as painterly from MAC all over the eye then just work a mid brown/slightly orangey brown shade into the crease.. here I've used cork and texture - MAC of course, then just a little bit of liquid liner to frame the eye... for the bright lip there is nothing more essential than a lip liner.. i used the liner to go around the edge of the lip I then filled in my lips and pressed rebel lipstick over the top and not once to did i have to reapply the whole night! 

P.S Being a redhead definitely makes you more fiery!! ;)

When I'm in a grungey sort of mood i gravitate to anything laddered, creased, tasseled or holey! The older or more distressed it looks the better in my opinion! I also have a new found love for kimono's - there are some amazing vintage tasseled ones out there for really cheap too... this One Teaspoon kimono is one of my fave's as it goes with pretty much anything and makes everything slightly more hippy'esque! I <3 Hippy's!
